I am a self taught artist that now lives in Pine Mountain, GA. Born and raised in Rossville, GA. I began drawing at the age of 15. My brother bought me drawing pads, books and pencils. I studied art one semester in college and there after I began painting on wood and moved on to T-shirt and oil painting. I soon discovered Emu and Ostrich eggs. I painted them for several years until seeing gourds that were painted, coiled and decorated. I fell in love with them. They are unique and fun to work with. There are no two exactly alike and they never come out the same. I still paint canvas, wood and eggs but my primary art is the gourds. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
